Entry criteria for the HOKA UTMB Mont-Blanc
Races of HOKA UTMB Mont-Blanc
- UTMB World Series Finals : UTMB, CCC and OCC
- Other races : PTL, TDS, MCC, ETC, YCC
How to access in one of these 3 finals ?
1 . Through a lottery System
To be eligible for the lottery, runners must have :
- A valid UTMB Index
- At least one Running Stone (Earned in the past 24 months)
Pre-registration is normally in December of the preceding year with the lottery taking place in January. (Exact dates are subject to change)
A/ UTMB Index requirements
Runners must possess a valid UTMB Index at the time of their pre-registration for the lottery.
- UTMB (100M), valid UTMB index 100K or 100M.
- CCC (100K) valid UTMB index 50K, 100k or 100M
- OCC (50K) valid UTMB index 20K, 50K, 100k or 100M
Note: The UTMB Index only needs to be valid at the time of pre-registration and not at the date of the race. However if a runner's UTMB Index has expired at the race date this will affect their starting wave for the CCC and OCC.

B/ Running Stones requirements
For entry into the lottery, runners must possess at least 1 ACTIVE Running Stone on the date that they pre-register for the lottery. Your number of Running Stones represents your number of chances in the lottery for the HOKA UTMB Mont-Blanc.

Note : Someone with 6 Running Stones will have their name in the lottery 6 times. In short, the more Running Stones you have the more the chances of being selected.
2. Through the Charity Bibs
It is possible to bypass the lottery and guarantee your place in the UTMB World Series Finals through a charitable donation to one of the UTMB Foundations, known as the Charity Bibs. Runners must meet the UTMB Index and Running Stones requirements listed above.
